The War Memorial Hospital Llanidloes
The battle to retain the services at our hospital is not over
Powys Teaching Health Board is “consulting’’ on ‘temporary’ changes to the provision of services at Llanidloes War Memorial Hospital. The re-designation of our hospital means that care will only be provided to those patients ready to go home and are waiting for a care package to be organised.
This will potentially lead to a downgrade in other currently provided functions and a degradation of skilled nursing staff and a possible recruitment crisis.
We need the PTHB to respond to the local GPs’concerns - who have not been consulted and who are totally against the proposals.
We also need YOUR support to say
NO TO A DOWNGRADE
You can help by attending a public meeting in the Church Hall, Church Street, Llanidloes, on Friday 16th August at 7:30 to support the campaign to SAVE OUR HOSPITAL
You, the Public, have not been consulted nor has the Welsh Government. It amounts to a breach of the terms of the contract between PTHB and the Senedd
Petition 14 AUGUST 2024
We, by signing this petition, do strongly object to the Powys Teaching Health Board proposals for changes to the provision of healthcare at Llanidloes War Memorial hospital.
